| U of I Students Warned of Possible Identity Theft

10/9/2007 - October 9, 2007--Nearly 200 University of Iowa students are being warned they could be at risk for identity theft. The university says a teaching assistant's laptop containing personal information on 184 students has been stolen.
The laptop also had the Social Security numbers of 100 students. The students who had information on the laptop, were registered in philosophy courses between 2002 and 2006.
